Federal Homelessness Assistance Programs & Resources

The Department of Housing and Urban Development, along with many other federal agencies, funds programs to help the homeless. These programs, which are managed by local homeless assistance agencies, provide services such as shelter, food, counseling, and jobs skills training. Available resources include the following:
