Title of WebQuest: "The Shape of Our World"

Goals and Objectives:

At the completion of this Webquest, the student will:
  1. 1. Actively participate in a group Webquest discovery.
  2. 2. Use a computer to research shapes on preselected websites.
  3. 3. Name selected shapes.
  4. 4. Define selected shapes.
  5. 5. Observe shapes in the environment.
  6. 6. Discuss attributes of selected shapes.
  7. 7. Draw selected shapes using Microsoft Draw.
  8. 8. Analyze how shapes can form designs in our environment.
  9. 9. Take pictures of shapes in our environment using a digital camera.
  10. 10. Use findings of Webquest and knowledge about shapes to create an object.
  11. 11. Participate in group presentation of created object.
  12. 12. View class object presentations.
  13. 13. Reflect on Webquest experience and complete evaluation form.
