Step 1

Get your math journals and a pencil to take notes.

Step 2

Use the pictures and words to help you understand the definitions. Looking at the definitions will be a start towards understanding the definitions. We will also talk about what these words mean.

In your groups talk about your what you think each term means. Ask each other for help if you do not understand. After discussing theses meanings ask one of the teachers to come to your group to hear about what you have learned.

You may also look at the next two pictures and read the short explanations. These explanations are hard to understand, do your best and ASK FOR HELP!
