Your job in this activity is to investigate how many different shapes you can make by combining equilateral triangles. Put the triangles side by side, you can't count congruent shapes twice. To get you started, you can only make 1 shape with one triangle, and no matter how hard I tried to put two together, it came out the same. Keep track of your results, and make a spreadsheet in clarisworks to show how many different shapes you made for each number of triangles.
