Internet Acceptable Use Policy

The HDB School District realizes the important role technology will play in your child's future; therefore, we have placed a priority on implementing technology in our curriculum. A variety of technological sources are available to both students and teachers, one of which is the Internet. Our goal is to utilize these resources to meet the state academic standards. We will make every attempt to ensure proper use of technology but it requires a mutual agreement between administration, teachers, parents and students. While the district has taken precautions to restrict access to controversial materials, it is impossible to control the entire global network.

Outlined below are the guidelines for the privilege to use the school technology resources. If the user chooses not to follow the guidelines, consequences will be administered according to district policy, described in the Student handbook, and all applicable laws.
