Bio

My name is José Corral. I was born in Navojoa, Sonora, México. My dad was an electrician, and my mom is a housewife.

I graduated from "Rafael Ramirez" Normal School in Sonora, México in 1984. I began as a teacher in a very small town called San Miguel de Horcasitas. Then one year after that I moved to Hermosillo, México where I taught at "Heroes de Caborca" Elementary School until September 1997.

In November 1997, I moved to Arizona and got a job as a substitute teacher. Three months later I accepted a position as a bilingual 4th grade teacher at "William T. Machan" School at Creighton School District.

In August 1998, the District was recruiting teachers for a brand new School. I was interviewed for the School's principal and hired as a 4th grade bilingual teacher at Gateway Elementary School located at 1100 N 35th ST. in Phoenix, AZ. 85008. I have been teaching at Gateway since 1998
