To develop the First Aid Kit so that it will be
beneficial for yourself, your friends, and classmates, you
must first become an expert on Study Skills. After you have
become familiar with the information, you will design a
reference sheet or pamphlet that students can keep in their
notebook. This reference sheet or pamphlet should be easy to
read and it should help students remember to use the
strategy while they are in class or studying. You will also
create an ad for the school paper that will be a small
feature such as "AIMS Tip" or "Study Tip of the Week." You
can title your feature differently, but it must be clear
that it is a study skill from the First Aid Kit. Finally,
you will make a poster to display in the classroom as a
visual reminder to use the skill. You will be responsible
for explaining each of your products to the class and
answering any questions that the students may have. You will
demonstrate each of the skills and how they may be
used.
