Bibliography |
By including a bibliography with your research you are simply giving credit to the place you received your information, (your source). This also allows your audience or readers to go to your source for more information than what you chose to include.Use the following examples as a guide for preparing your bibliography, which will be included as a slide (or slides) in your multimedia presentation.
If your resource is not shown in the examples below, check with your teacher for the proper format.
You must include the author's name, the title of the book, the location where the book was published and the publisher's name, as well as the date of publication. Note the order and punctuation.Book by a single author:
Lincoln, Abraham. My Autobiography. Kentucky: Hastings Publications, 1860.Encyclopedia
Michaelss, Tom. "Abraham Lincoln." The World Book Encyclopedia. 1996 ed.Magazine article
Jones, Mary and Mike Smith. "Lincoln's Life." Time Magazine 9 Oct. 1999: 102-107.
Information found on the Internet must include the title of the site, or article, the author's name (if known), the name of the organization, company, school, or person who authored the web page(s), the date it was published on the Web, if known, if not, the date you accessed it. Finally, you must also sow the URL, or address where the article is located on the Internet.WWW sites
