Introduction
Arizona needs you! The Arizona Department of Tourism and
Arizona Highways Magazine wants more people to come and
visit Arizona. They need 4th graders who are studying
Arizona to research and then convince others to come and
visit our great state!
Top
Task
You and four of your classmates have each applied and been
hired to specialize in a different part of Arizona through
the perspective of your new occupation. You will create and
present your own Power Point Presentation/Arizona Brochure
to showcase your area of Arizona expertise to the class.
You
will use the website resources below and your own textbook,
library books and other materials to find
information. Create
a detailed Power Point Presentation with at least six slides
that describes and highlights the part of Arizona you have
researched. Include
at least one graphic and detailed text on each of your six
slides. You are a team! Help your fellow group members with
any difficulties in putting together their presentation.
Before presenting to the class, teach each other in your
group about your area of Arizona so that you are all experts
prepared to present and answer questions for your audience.

of Arizona on your Research Organizer that was given out in
class. Use this organizer/storyboard to develop your six
Power Point slides in your Arizona Slide Show/Brochure. Make
sure that you have a graphic, description and which websites
you used on each page.
4)
When you and all of your group members are finished with the
slide show, take turns showing and teaching your part of
Arizona to the group before showing the entire class. Ask
questions and give eachother suggestions and ideas to
