Your Task :
The three party candidates are looking for ways to respond to the major topics of the day. You are going to provide them. Each political party has hired ten individuals fluent in their school of sociological thought to be their "spin doctors." You are those individuals. The first step is to establish your knowledge of your party line. You will do this by answering the following questions using the information provided below ( remember that anything that is underlined is a link to more information) :
1. Which political party would be
interested in limiting government intervention based on their
philosophy of free will?
2. Which political party would
like to see the government aid people, based on their interest in
social order and integration, to over come social and economic
crises?
3. Which political party believes
the underclass must work together to over come social and economic
crises?
4. Which political party would see
our current society as possessing a ruling class and a subject
class?
5. Which political party believes
that individuals work within a context of social action? Describe the
types of social action.
6. Which political party believes
that all societies have certain basic needs that must be met? What do
they call those needs?
