To introduce the concept of area.  To provide a fun and interactive way for students to find the area of various objects.

Students find the area of various objects using the correct mathematical formulas.
Comparing and Ordering Fractions  Grades:5-8
Learn how to order and compare fractions. Apply knowledge of least common denominator to order fractions.  
Converting Capacity  Grades:5 and 6
Learn how to convert capacity units milliliters and liters.
Fractions in Action  Grades:3-5
Determine which fractions are greater than, less than or equal to.  Simplify fraction to their lowest terms.  Add fractions and simplify the answers if needed.
Fraction Practice  Grades:4-6
To determine if a fraction is greater than, less than or equal to another fraction.  To become familiar with mixed and improper fractions.  To simplify fractions.  To add and subtract fractions.
Identifying and Defining Polygons  Grades:4-6
Identify given polygons.  Recognize features of given polygon (and nonpolygons). Draw polygons.
Polygon Characteristics  Grades:4-7
Label and identify polygons. Find lines of symmetry in polygons and recognize whether they are symmetrical. Identify congruent and similar polygons
Logic Problems  Grades:3-5
Read and understand a logic problem.  Logically solve the problem to find the answer.
Magic Squares  Grades:4-6
Understand number patterns.
Math Concept Samples  Grades:4 and 5
An overview of math concepts in grades four and five.
Measuring Angles  Grades:3-6
To identify angles as acute, obtuse or right.  To use a protractor to determine if an angle is acute, obtuse or right.  To identify pairs of angles with special relationships (vertical, adjacent).

Literature Review Game  Grades:4-6
Review reading comprehension terms
Sequence of Events  Grade:6
Students identify time-order words in order to comprehend passages. Students place events in sequential order on a time line. Students use a flow chart to organize their thoughts for writing.
