ADVERTISING EXECUTIVE

You will create an advertising campaign for your candidate. Your campaign must include the following materials:

• One radio or television commercial.
• One print ad for either a billboard, bus shelter, magazine, or newspaper.
• One poster to be placed in the front yard of political supporters.
• One button.
• One bumper sticker.

Make sure you begin with the General Resources for the entire campaign team before you start looking in your resources. Sample buttons, commercials and other campaign items can be found under Resources.

You will need to coordinate your efforts with the other members of the campaign team. They may need to use some of your information for their portion of the project.

The radio commercial should be audio taped and a cassette or CD-ROM will be collected. The television commercial should be videotaped and a VHS copy will be collected. All other materials should be created in either a word processing program or in a multimedia program like HyperStudio or PowerPoint. This will also be collected in diskette format.
