Educational Biography

I am an English teacher who is very enthusiastic, active and honest. I have been teaching for 10 years. As time goes on, I like my teaching job more and more. I want to be a teacher who makes learning easy for students and school fun. I want to be a teacher who always tries to do an exemplary job with the students.

I feel my greatest strength is integrity, love of learning and love of the students. I always keep every student has a right to be educated in a manner that they understand best in mind. Students motivate me to be a teacher of quality. I am very proud of myself because I feel I am a teacher who can grow with them. I know that I also need to be a great motivator to keep students actively involved in learning, and to make them eager to come to class. As a teacher and a counselor, I will try to listen to my students and respond to their personal needs.

I always focus on the effective characteristics of a teacher: gentleness, caring, understanding, and fun loving. When the teacher talks to the students like their mother, they feel cared and comfortable. I pay attention to all of the students, not just a few. Caring them brings fairness. I give students freedom of choice. Students want to do what they feel they are good at. Freedom of choice is the best reward for students. I have a sense of humor; I might tell students about my personal life, and I might loosen up. I might also make spelling test become a party and I can communicate fun attitude about work.

My goal is to see through the eyes of the students. I want to remember that I am not the "boss" in the class. I don't know everything. I need to learn as well. I need to keep adding, changing and reflecting. The students always remind me of that.
