Plant Experiment
Welcome! We have been studying what plants need to grow. At the end of the lesson we decided to test this information to see if it was fact. What follows is a basic experiment to test the question:
Do plants need water, air, soil, and light to grow?
Student Journal Entries - Read what students observed during the plan experiment.
Experiment Description:
Plant 1: No Water, but it will still get light, soil, and air.
Plant 2: No Light,but it will still get water, soil, and air.
Plant 3:
No Soil, but it will still get water, light and air.
Plant 4:
No Air, but it will still get water, light, and soil
How long will it last:

Three weeks.
Start Date: 4/10/02
End Date: 4/30/02

This plant will get

It will be closed inside a light proof box, except when we give it water and to take picture.

no soil

We took this perfectly good plant and took off all the soil (dirt). Of course, all in the name of science!

This plant was put into an air tight plastic bag. Every few days we will add some water.
