Class Requirements for Mr. McClure's ICE/VICA, IntroTech, Woods Classes
What you need in class every day:
1. Pen (blue/black ink only) or sharpened pencil.
2. Three ring notebook/journal logbook.
3. Notebook paper.
4. Classroom binder - contains handouts and notes (as required every day).
5. Your attendance.
Grades are based on points earned for quizzes, tests, completed project portfolios, and Technology Precis.
1 = 90 - 100%
2 = 80 - 89%
3 = 70 - 79%
4 = 60 - 69%
5 = < 60%
The semester grade is determined by the 1st nine weeks final grade + the 2nd nine week final grade + the semester exam/presentation.
Please review the GUHSD/SHS attendance policy guide for specific consequences (tardies, excessive absents, etc.). A tardy is reported to the attendance office if you are not in your seat when the tardy bell rings - NO EXCEPTIONS!
Make-up work is your responsibility. All late work/assignments (not handed in on due date) will be given ½ credit (with exception of illness and excused absents). Make-up quizzes and exams will be available for retake in room 902, Monday - Friday from 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM within two days of an absence. Missed project portfolios will be completed within 24 hr. (students will lose one letter grade for each day write-up is late with exception of illness and excused absents).
Classroom rules and procedures (They're EASY!)
1. Every student in his or her seat before the tardy bell
2. All students live the three "R's"
3. Sit in your assigned seat every day. Be proactive, think, and Plan!
4. You will be dismissed by the teacher at the end of class.
